Boem Restyling ProposalGraphic Design & Art Direction
Boem opened a contest asking to design the graphic component of the cans of the new drink flavours, giving participants carte blanche to do so. Since I didn't know the flavours, I decided not to settle on something precise, but to make sure that modularity was the basis of my design.
I designed a grid capable of generating modular and variable fonts according to taste. With the aim of making each can unique and unmistakable. And I imagined four hypothetical flavours, drawing for each of them a symbol capable of narrating its essence, assigning it a colour capable of figuring
its vibe.
For the application on the can I decided to clean it from the old typography, and replace it with my own, leaving the rest of the label identical in order to remain recognisable with regular Boem consumers.
