In Italy's legal and tax advisory sector, identity has long functioned as armor. Firms signal authority through formal registers, institutional palettes, and names designed to keep distance rather than invite conversation. Boutique practices either imitate the codes of larger competitors or recede into generic professionalism, indistinguishable from one another. BC&, a corporate and tax advisory studio founded in Milan in 1997, had spent nearly three decades doing neither — building a team of dozens of professionals whose approach to advisory sat closer to creative thinking than to traditional legal practice. We were asked to lead a complete rebrand: from positioning and verbal identity to visual system and website.
